In 1999, Mr. Amoroso was given the honor, by the Director of Music at Proclamation Presbyterian Church of assembling small string ensembles to perform for the first Sunday of every month. Not long after, his son, a violinist with the Philadelphia Orchestra became involved in the hiring process and was able to procure outstanding string players from the Orchestra to perform with them and on most occasions, with the addition of two other string players, as a string quartet. During the holidays, he expanded the group with more imports from the Orchestra and on other occasions  reduced the size of  the ensemble when those musicians were not available to play.
The following selections offered here are live performances recorded before and during Sunday service over a span of fourteen years (2001 -2014) at Proclamation Presbyterian Church, with one short rehearsal preceding the service.
This selection begins in a tradional mode then halfway through transitions to a gospel feel.
This selection was the encore to a jazz ensemble program at an evening concert in 2007
This was a live  performance at Proclamation Presbyterian Church, outside Philadelphia, PA. Our expanded group performed this piece that included, 4 violins, 2violas, one cello and one bass.
